This statement was made America's greatest founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin by one. It is a simple statement but powerful. Unfortunately, it is significantly neglected unknown by the masses, let alone as demonstrated by you.
Freedom is America's number one asset. It is a privilege to be free and live in a free country, not a right. In addition, there are no guarantees for the freedom. Throughout its history have to create many US citizens and protect your most valuable commodity died. Others are died, to get it by risking their lives come to America. Freedom, America has enjoyed was created by virtue that amalgam of personal qualities and properties that awesome, sacrifice a higher integrity and noble order, qualities like courage, selflessness, self-control, discipline, dedication, hard work, independence, honesty and personal integrity are.
But take a look around. Where are these qualities in our leaders and the public manifested? Where is it not personal interest or personal agendas a concern for freedom, even? Where is the victim? Where is the reservation? Where are the discipline and self-control? Where is independence? Most importantly, where honesty and integrity are? In fact, gone where all virtues? Where are those whose hearts, minds, spirits and actions based, where to what is noble, awesome, honorable?
Look around again, not casually but deep. What are the central values to motivate the masses in America? Rich in the victim of integrity of sans ethics? Becomes famous in all circumstances, whether famous were something to be proud? The noble ideal passed the worship faces of movie stars, rock stars, sports stars, sex symbols? The pursuit of material abundance? Is this what we worship in America? This is the level of substance that we, i.e. gravitierte have sunk? This, is that we are our freedom support?
Most people talk about freedom and love their freedom, but you are aware what it takes to create, maintain and preserve freedom? Douglas MacArthur was one of the largest military generals in history. With regard to freedom, he said: No one may the blessings of freedom, if he be vigilant in its preservation. We are all aware America's military might that serves to protect our freedom from the outside invaders and destroyers, but who is at the street level of American cities, which is really being vigilant in the preservation of freedom or even understand what it takes to preserve freedom on a virtuous level?

Where is the local virtue school in your community? The sad reality of today's America is that people with virtue are primarily affected. If you were, it would more open about it, care for your manifestation in our lives. More sad is people mock to denigrate it regret virtue, deny and think it is old-fashioned. Yet, from the perspective of freedom, nothing could be more, and never again be in fashion.
